Have you seen the new Macy’s commercial? It features actor Edmund Gwenn (Kris Kringle) from the original “Miracle On 34th Street” digitally edited with Macy’s biggest celebrity names including Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Tommy Hilfiger and a very funny turn from one Martha Stewart. I LOVE the original film and this is a fun way for Macy’s to bring about some holiday spirit!!! Check it out below!
I wonder if Martha Stewart has a special dish cloth in her collection to clean up this latest mess? It seems daughter, Alexis, has written a new book that doesn’t paint such a positive light on dear old mom.
In “Whateverland: Learning to Live Here,” the 46-year-old Stewart says she grew up “with a glue gun pointed at my head.”
Alexis Stewart writes that mom’s public image was not always her private image. She goes on to say that that during the holidays she was forced to wrap her own Christmas gifts and at Halloween there was no trick or treating. She writes, “Martha was not interested in being kid-friendly. She adds, “She would hand me things right before Christmas and say, ‘Now wrap these but don’t look inside.”
Daughter Stewart also writes that at Halloween “We turned off all the lights and pretended we weren’t home.”
Okay, it’s a line from Marge Simpson from last night’s episode of “The Simpson’s” which can be seen on HULU. Segment three was without a doubt the funniest…Martha Stewart played herself and poked fun at all things Martha. It was quite funny.
Entertainment Weekly gives you a complete rundown on all of Martha’s tips to Marge. My favorite: “A slumbering hubby is now a Traditional Christmas Tableau! Copyright: Martha Stewart”
